The key fund has supported us with a grant in excess of £50,000 and additional finance (of nearly £80k) over the next ten years in order that the club could fully modernise the energy provision at the rugby club.
This has included new air to water heat pumps, new air to air conditioning units, bar cellar cooler, electric charge points, solar panels battery and inverter together with a full building management system.

These improvements are expected to make the club significantly greener and more energy efficient, while reducing our current energy costs by more than 50%.
With energy costs having become increasingly difficult to manage, this investment will make a huge difference to the long-term sustainability of our facilities. Quite simply, without The Key Fund's grant and additional finance, the club would have faced years of significantly higher utility bills.

The new build also provides better facilities for our female players with integrated showers and toilets within the changing rooms. The referee facilities have similar facilities.
We are incredibly grateful to The Key Fund for helping us secure a more sustainable and financially secure future for Dunstablians RUFC and our wider community.
