Another Old boy has gone to play rugby in the sky. Dave Woodford passed away aged eighty-six. Many people would not remember Dave, but he played for the club over four decades from the fifties to the eighties.
He was a stalwart of Tom McNab’s “all stars.” He had also been a VP in the past and was a regular at the Old Boys/ ex-Players lunches. A loyal supporter of the club over the years.
He lived up in Oundle and attended Dunstable Grammar school from 1951 to 1954. The club will be sending a card to his wife on behalf of the club.
Dave was an Old Boy of the grammar school 1951-54.
Funeral arrangements are tba although it is likely that the only people who knew him is our old guard of John Riddy, Steve Carline, Grahame Bennett, and Ken Aplin (Those of a certain age!!).
