Dunstablians RUFC has officially entered the podcasting arena with the launch of Dee’s Cast, a brand-new audio series that brings the stories, voices, and spirit of the club directly to your ears. Hosted by long-time club member and media lead Dicky Jones, Dee’s Cast is a weekly show designed to keep players, parents, supporters, and sponsors connected to everything happening on and off the pitch. Dicky hosted weekly quiz competitions over the covid period to ensure that all members were communicating with each other.

From post-match reactions with Head Coach Kirk, to leadership updates from Griffins captain Nate, youth development insights from Colts coach Jordan, and commercial updates with sponsorship secretary David Haywood, the podcast offers an honest and entertaining look behind the scenes at Bidwell Park. “We’ve always said we’re more than just a rugby club,” said Dicky. “Dees Cast gives us a new way to celebrate that, sharing the passion, the progress, and yes, the post-match banter – with the entire Dees family, wherever they are.” Each episode features quick-fire interviews, club news, a few laughs, and even the occasional trip down memory lane complete with trivia from the club’s rich history (did you know the original clubhouse was made from ex-military huts from Whipsnade Zoo?).
